Say hello to Dawn Chapman, founder of the award-winning Lazy Daisy’s Café in Toronto.
It was in 2011, when Dawn leveraged her past experience managing cafés in the U.K. to open Lazy Daisy’s Café in Toronto’s East End. With Lazy Daisy’s Dawn could build upon her background in farming to create a welcoming and comfortable space focused on locally sourced, farm fresh, and homemade food.
Since that time, Lazy Daisy’s has gone on to win several ‘Best’ awards ranging from the Best Family Friendly Restaurant, to Best Brunch, and have been highlighted as having the Best Breakfast Sandwich by BlogTO, Toronto Life, Taste Toronto, Food Network and USA Today thanks to their legendary buttermilk biscuits.
Currently, Dawn is busy launching a Lazy Daisy’s line of frozen buttermilk biscuits in a variety of flavours – so people can enjoy some of the ‘Best’ baked biscuits at home.
